Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015

A sure bet for the Hockey Hall of Fame (if he ever retires!), Jaromir Jagr has signed his World All-Stars game-worn jersey from the 50th NHL All-Star Game in 2000. The Czech superstar scored the Worlds’ second goal and assisted on their last in a 9-4 win over Team North America at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre on February 6. Jagr signed in bold black marker between the numbers of his iconic No. 68 on the back of this distinctive All-Star gamer with CCM and size 58 flag tags in the back of the neck. Light stains around the back of the collar, possibly from sweat, with no other discernible wear to report on this Jagr game-worn jersey that obviously saw limited duty.
Czech Republic flag patch is sewn on the left shoulder and the Penguins patch is sewn on the right shoulder, with the Toronto 2000 NHL All-Star Game patch on the right breast and the NHL 2000 patch below that. This is one of five jerseys made for Jagr for use during either one of the three periods of the ASG, the team photo shoot or the pre-game warmup skate.
