Hulking defenseman Ed Jovanovski signed his Team North America game-worn jersey from the 2001 NHL All-Star Game. Jovo assisted on Bill Guerin’s hat trick goal late in the third period of the North Americans’ 14-12 win at Denver’s Pepsi Center on February 4. He has signed in bold black marker on the top of the right “5” on the back of his gamer with Made in Canada and size 58 flag tags in the neck. NHL Authentication number patch is sewn on the fight strap. Best of obviously limited game wear is a mark on the back of the left sleeve along with light sweat stains around the collar.
This is one of five jerseys made up for Jovanovski, each to be worn during one period of the game, the team photo shoot or the pre-game warmup skate. The 2001 ASG patch is sewn on the right breast, while the Canucks patch is sewn on the right shoulder and the Canadian flag patch is sewn on the left. NHLPA and NHL logos are embroidered on the right rear tail.
