Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2015
Cool set of Winnipeg Jets practice-worn jerseys which were sold at the Winnipeg Arena prior to 1996 when the team moved to Phoenix. Both the blue and white jerseys are tagged in the collar as Maska “86 07”, both have the Molson Canadian patch sewn on the left breast, and both seem to have a screened-on team logo underneath the team crest,(visible from inside of the jerseys, more visible on the white). The pair are similar in other ways as well. The team crests both show puckering, and the heat-pressed, rubberized numbers (40 on the white, 37 on the blue) have paint cracking, with Molson lettering above. Fight straps are inside both, and CCM logos are sewn on the hems. The white practice gamer has marks scattered about, along with paint transfer, while the blue example also shows marks, plus a team repair on the left sleeve. Great pair of jerseys worn by Jets players in practice.
