Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2015
Leafs jersey was worn by forward Fredrik Modin during the ’98-99 playoffs, which would also be Modin’s 3rd and final season with the Buds, the team he was originally drafted by (round 3, 64th overall in 1994), before moving on to the Tampa Bay Lightning. Tagged in the collar as a Nike (size) “56”, with a “Center Ice” patch below and “NHL Player” screened alongside, this Modin gamer displays the Maple Leaf Gardens “Memories & Dreams” patch on the right breast, which commemorated the final game at the Gardens played on February 13, 1999. A small amount of game marks are noticeable on the front and on both sleeves, while sewn on the inside hem is a Leafs “1998-1999 Game-Worn Playoff Set” patch. A fine Leafs game-worn jersey from a fellow who would lace up for 898 NHL games that all began in Toronto. Comes with a team LOA.
