Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2015
From circa 2011-12 when BC-born Brett Bulmer played 9 games for the Minnesota Wild and Alberta-born Jared Spurgeon was in his second year with the team are their game-worn Wild helmets, both signed in black marker on the top. Bulmer’s signature is clear but showing some slightly paled areas, while Spurgeon’s is clear and dark throughout. A small amount of game marks line these helmets that feature Wild decals on each side and numbers (54 for Bulmer, 46 Spurgeon) on the fronts and backs, and remain complete with visors and full inside padding. Bulmer’s also has a price and bar code tag attached, plus a “Hockey Fights Cancer” decal on one side. Nice Wild gamers from Bulmer, who was selected by the Wild 39th overall in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, and Spurgeon, originally chosen by the Islanders 156th overall in the 2008 Draft. Both players, at this writing, remain with the Wild, with Bulmer presently skating with Minnesota’s AHL affiliate Iowa Wild. Helmets come with team COAs signed by a representative of the Wild.
