Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2015
A couple of sticks from 2 HOF d-men on tap here, beginning with 2004 inductee Paul Coffey’s game-used Sher-Wood from the early-1990s when he was first with the Pittsburgh Penguins but would suit up for the L.A. Kings for 2 seasons beginning in 1991-92. This gamer has “Coffey 77” screened on the upper shaft, while below is screened on as “Handcrafted Exclusively for Paul Coffey 77”. His original black tape is on the knob, while the tape on the blade has been removed and replaced by Paul’s large and clear signature in black marker as “To Pat, Good Luck, Paul Coffey”. Nice stick with smaller amounts of game-wear lining it. Chris Chelios, inducted into the Hall in 2013, has signed the untaped blade of his game-issued “Easton” in clear and bold silver marker. With white knob tape and “Chelios 24” graphics on the shaft, this stick, along with Coffey’s, is ready to look sensational on display.
