HOF linesman Ray Scapinello never missed a game due to illness or injury over the course the longest on-ice career in NHL history at 33 years. Inducted into the Hall in 2008, Scamp officiated 2,500 regular season games and 426 more in the Stanley Cup Playoffs from 1971 to 2004. Ray’s early-1980s NHL Linesman’s game-worn jersey with “The Tease Knitting Co.” tagging in the back of the collar has a zipper-front closure and the NHL crest patch sewn on the left breast. “Scapinello” is spelled out in white twill letters sewn on a black nameplate. Game wear shows in red paint transfer on the back of each sleeve.
