Awesome American Hockey League All-Star Game find is Paul Larivee’s 1956 AHL All-Stars game-worn jersey. Hall of Fame goalie Johnny Bower posted the only shutout in AHL All-Star Game history with 47 saves for the host Providence Reds in a 4-0 win against a potent team composed of the minor league’s all-stars. Larivee’s ASG game-worn jersey has Gerry Cosby and size 46 flag tags inside the left hip seam. “AHL All Stars”, the star in the middle of the front and No. 18 on the back are all sewn-on white felt. The yoke is a white stretchy knit insert with sewn-on red and blue piping accent stripes across the front and back. There is a team repair above the second “L” sewn on the front of this cool 1950s AHL All-Star gamer.
