Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2015
Considered by probably everyone in the hockey world as one of the greatest d-men to ever play the game, Swedish-born Nicklas Lidstrom used this “Montreal” gamer in the 1990s with Detroit, the only team he suited up for during his brilliant NHL career that began in 1991-92 and ended in 2011-12. With original black tape on the blade and white on the knob, this gamer has a stamped-on “Lidstrom” near the top of the shaft, although the name is partially covered by knob tape. A strand of the blade tape has unraveled, and a nice, although not overabundant, amount of game marks line the shaft. Definitely a nice gamer from a shoo-in for HOF induction.
