Before Terry Crisp would become bench boss in junior and then the big time with the Calgary Flames and Tampa Bay Lightning, the Parry Sound native was a key NHL centerman who would ultimately help his Philadelphia Flyers capture 2 Stanley Cups in the early to mid-1970s. We have a Crisp game-used Victoriaville stick from his circa late-60s-early-70s playing days with the St. Louis Blues, where he started his playing career, featuring Terry’s original white tape on the knob and crack-free blade, and with “Crisp” stamped on the upper shaft. A beauty of a gamer that shows light but obvious game-use, and has the added bonus of Crisp signing the upper shaft in clear red marker as “To a Good Friend & His Great Family, My Thanks. Terry Crisp”, with the signature and notation nice and crisp, like the name, with just a slight touch of redness surrounding some of the sig. Simply a very cool vintage gamer from a 3-time Cup hoister, twice as a player and once as a coach with Calgary in ’88-89.
