Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015

A trio of game-used goaltender’s sticks from 3 big-leaguers for the taking here, beginning with Felix Potvin’s mid-1990s Toronto Maple Leafs Koho Revolution gamer, with Felix’s original tape on the blade and knob, and with “F. Potvin 24 Mai 1994” stamped on the upper shaft. Nice game wear that includes parts of the blade tape damaged on this stick used during just his second season in the NHL. Jon Casey’s game-used Christian stick was handled in the mid-1990s when Casey was stopping pucks for the St. Louis Blues. With original tape on the blade and knob, and with “Casey” printed on the shaft, this gamer shows marks and red paint transfer scattered about and has some tape wear on the bottom of the blade. Lastly, Sean Burke has signed the original blade tape of his Louisville gamer from the 1989-90 season with New Jersey using clear black marker (and adding “All the best”), with original tape also above the paddle and on the knob. “Burke” is stamped on the upper shaft but is partially hidden by knob tape, the date “August 18, 1989” is stamped on the shaft as well, while game marks are most noticeable above the paddle.
