Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2015
Glenn “Chico” Resch, who would have his name engraved on the Stanley Cup as a member of the New York Islanders, handled this Vic stick in circa 1985-87 while with the Philadelphia Flyers, the final stop in his very fine NHL career that began back in 1973 with the Islanders. Chico’s original white tape covers the knob and the rubber-cover blade that shows some bulging and cracking underneath (with several slashes and cuts to the white tape), while the paddle displays a small amount of chips lining the edges. “G. Resch” is printed above the “Curtis Curve”. A fine gamer from a colorful and excellent goaltender, and comes with an LOA from Classic Auctions.
