Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2015
HOF goalie Gerry Cheevers led the Big, Bad Bruins to the Stanley Cup twice in three seasons. Cheesy’s late-1960s/early-1970s signed Northland game-used stick displays solid red goalpost paint transfer on the shaft, which has a “Cheevers” stamp and his number “30” stamped in red higher up below his original black and white tape knob. Gerry has signed in black marker with the “HOF 85” notation on the front of the shaft and his original tape job also remains on the blade, which exhibits lots of wear to the bottom edge and red goalpost paint transfer on the tape. Comes with a Classic Auctions LOA.
“Woody Dumart and Co. Needham Heights, Mass.” is stamped on each side of the shaft.
