Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2015
The late, great Jacques Plante’s New York Rangers game-used stick dates from the deceased HOFer’s Broadway run with the Blueshirts in the mid-1960s. Northland Pro gamer has “Plante” stamped on the front of the shaft and Gerry Cosby & Co. stamped on both sides higher up below Jake the Snake’s original tape job on the knob. Most of Plante’s tape job was removed from the blade, which is cracked towards the heel and at the toe. There are some chips along the top edge as well as on the bottom edge of the shaft. More game wear includes red goalpost paint transfer on the upper shaft. Comes with a Classic Auctions LOA.
