Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2015
It was 2-plus seasons with the L.A. Kings for goaltender Jonathan Bernier before moving north to the Toronto Maple Leafs, and it was during those days with the Kings, from 2009-10 to 2012-13, that he wore the 2 catcher’s gloves offered here – a CCM gamer and a Reebok practice glove. Both have “Bernier” stitched on the outer cuffs, and the goaltender has signed both in clear black marker. Ready for display or to use if so desired, these gloves remain in excellent condition with the webbing intact and no material damage, with the CCM gamer showing only a smaller amount of puck marks, while the Reebok practice glove, which reads “Practice, Reebok by Lefevre” on the inside cuff, displays a substantial amount. Really nice game and practice-worn catching gloves from a very fine backstopper, and comes complete with a Bernier LOA.
