Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2015
From circa 1992-93 when Curtis Joseph was tending net for the St. Louis Blues is this battle-scarred Louisville game-used goaltender’s stick. Curtis’ original white tape remains on the knob and at the top of the paddle, along with original black tape on the blade, some of which has unraveled, and parts of which are torn and have definitely seen better days. Chips are noticeable on the edge of the paddle, a small amount of game marks are scattered throughout, and “Joseph” is stamped on the shaft. All in all, a nice game-used goalie stick from a very fine big league puck stopper.
