Very cool 2002 Team Canada practice jersey worn by slickster Paul Kariya during Canada’s practices in Utah leading up to the Olympic gold-medal winning game against the Americans. Tagged in the collar as a “Nike (size) 54” with an “IIHF” patch below, this Kariya gamer, with the partially embroidered Team Canada logo on a green patch, shows a scattering of marks scattered about, plus a nice amount of red paint transfer on the left sleeve. A beautiful practice-worn jersey with “Kariya” lettering sewn directly onto the jersey, and with a stop sign “Respect” patch between the name and his number “9”. Great jersey from a very smooth player.
