Originally from the Johnny Bucyk collection are these terrific original works of art honor Boston Bruins legend Johnny Bucyk and were done following Bucyk's 300th and 500th NHL goals. It appears as though "Larry Johnston" is the artist's name on the 1960's work which was created on 17" by 19" artist board. "Chief" is smiling while holding a puck with "300th goal" on it. The 500 goal piece is on paper stock and mentions the Thursday, October 30, 1975 date on which the all-important milestone occurred against the St. Louis Blues, along with other members of the select 500-goal club. Also inscribed is "Assisted by Ken Hodge & Gregg Sheppard and Bobby Orr." John Duch Sr. appears to be the artist's name. Piece has been matted and shrink-wrapped to approximately 16" by 20" and is ready for hanging.
