Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2015
Deceased HOFer Chuck Gardiner placed a big, bold black ink fountain pen autograph across his photo in the rear of this signed Chicago Stadium program from the Black Hawks’ first Stanley Cup championship season in 1933-34. The late, great Gardiner died just two months after leading the Hawks to the Cup in the spring of 1934. He signed this program, which is missing the back cover, from Chicago’s game against the New York Rangers on Thursday March 1, 1934 with various pencil notations in the lineup centerfold. The 10 1/2" x 8” program comes with its detached front cover. Comes with a Classic Auctions LOA.
