Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015

From 1998-99, which was HOFer Ray Bourque’s last full season with the Boston Bruins, is Bourque’s game-worn
Sher-Wood Bruins gloves with “77” embroidered on the cuffs of each. These Bruins-colored gamers show lots of use from the great d-man, particularly in the palms which have worn through along with various areas of scuffing, and one can only imagine him wearing these as he wound up at the blueline or skated gingerly up the ice, primed to make the perfect play. Awesome game-worn gloves from the HOFer inducted in 2004.
An accompanying photo shows our consigner between Bruins coach Pat Burns and Bourque with a similar style
Sher-Wood glove.
