Fine collection of vintage 1950s/60s programs from the shrine, the Montreal Forum, featuring 5 of 6 Original Six teams clashing with the Habs (only Boston missing here). The lot begins on November 2, 1950 when the rival Leafs paid a visit, and ends on Nov. 19, 1969 when the Detroit Red Wings came to town. With all in fair to great condition with 1 showing faint water creases, 1 with no back cover, another with a loose lineup page, a couple with minor handwriting, and a 1969 edition with some middle lineup pages missing, it’s an overall nice collection of 15 which includes a copy from 1954 when HOFer Boom Boom Geoffrion recorded his 100th goal.
There are some having dirt, creasing, or other various condition issues in tbis lot that includes, with visiting teams coming to the Forum; Nov, 2, 1950 Toronto (faint water stains); Nov. 11, 1950 Rangers (crease); Jan. 20, 1951 Rangers (small pen scribble on back cover); Dec. 22, 1951 Chicago (stains); Jan. 27, 1951 Chicago (beautiful); Nov. 6, 1954 Detroit (Boomer’s 100th) crease; Nov. 11, 1954 Chicago (no back cover); Feb. 17, 1955 (Detroit); Feb. 19, 1966 Chicago (back cover tear); March 24, 1966 Toronto; Dec. 10, 1966 Detroit (1 handwritten goalie change); Jan. 21, 1967 (Chicago); Marc. 11, 1967 Chicago; Feb. 10, 1968 Chicago; and Nov. 19, 1969 Detroit (parts of middle lineup pages missing).
