Chosen No. 1 overall by St. Louis in the 2006 NHL Draft, American defenseman Erik Johnson has signed his first Blues game-worn jersey. Johnson had an assist for his first NHL point in his first game with St. Louis, a 3-2 loss in Phoenix on October 4, 2008. Johnson has signed below the notation “1st Game” in silver paint pen behind the crest inside the jersey. “1st Road Game” patch is inside the back of the jersey along with a Blue Note Authentics patch with an ID number that corresponds to the one on the accompanying team LOA.
Size 58+ flag tag sits in the back of the neck. “2 10-4-07 R.B.” reads the black marker notation on the sewn-on patch of fabric that anchors the fight strap inside the back of the jersey.
Game wear includes a light mark on the back of the right sleeve, which has a thread pull above that, and another light mark on the right front, just below and to the left of the BlueNote crest.
