Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2015
Great 3-piece Mario Lemieux lot, all professionally framed and matted, beginning with a 26 ½” x 33 ½” beauty featuring Mario in his first-ever game on Oct. 11, 1984 against the Bruins. Along with his name, Mario has also added “1st game, 1st shift, 1st shot, 1st goal”. On the bottom left is a handwritten “25/84” and a ReichPM Authentic hologram, and comes with a Reich COA. Next, with a WGA COA, is a signed and framed Mario/Team Canada 2002 photo, with Mario’s signature in clear and bold blue marker, and the overall piece measuring 26” x 29”. And finally, with a Steiner COA and a photo of Marion signing a similar photo, is a beautiful image of Mario, signed in clear blue marker, and housed in a 22” x 26” frame with matte.
All 3 framed, matted, and signed pieces remain in excellent condition, and would look “Magnifique” on display. To note, the "1st ever goal" framed photo is signed in what appears to be bluish-black marker, although the possibility remains that it is slightly paled black marker.
