A diamond sits in the middle of the wheel of Detroit’s famed Winged Wheel logo displayed in red on a 14-karat gold hockey stick tie-clip featured in this collection of Red Wings team physician Dr. John Finley’s jewellery and memorabilia. Older jewelry includes two pairs of cuff links, two tie clips and three pins. A pair of vintage ashtrays includes one with a wood base made of mini hockey stick-shaped legs. A couple of Detroit Olympia plaques include one with a brick from the Red Wings’ beloved old barn. A variety of 10 Red Wings pins include a pair celebrating the 1998 Stanley Cup. A gold-colored 40th NHL All-Star Game pin from Edmonton is among an assortment of pins and small keepsakes to discover. Comes with Dr. John Finley's signed LOA.
Hockey stick base ashtray stands 25” tall with “Detroit Red Wings” engraved on a gold-colored plaque in the middle of the round top portion of the base that supports the clear glass ashtray;
Vintage handpainted Red Wings ashtray has the Winged Wheel logo with “Doc” Finley below it in gold-colored lettering;
Vintage tie clips include one with a dangling skate charm and a Montreal NHL Old Timers clip that comes with a pair of matching cuff links. There is also a pair of Red Wings cuff links with the Winged Wheel crest. An old Winged Wheel crest pin and a pair of Red Wing Alumni pins round out the older jewelry.
Wood plaque that measures 8” x 5 3/4" features a clear glass “puck” with the Olympia façade depicted inside displayed on the bottom. A plaque above it reads “Presented to Dr. John Finley for participating in the last Hockey Game played at Detroit Olympia Stadium, February 21, 1980”;
Wood plaque that measures 14 3/4" x 11 1/4"features an old red brick with “Detroit Olympia 1926-1986” engraved on a gold-colored plaque affixed to its middle, a ticket from a 1976 Detroit vs. Montreal old-times game, and a picture of the Olympia façade at the top.
