Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2015
Nice big stack of 1966-77 Converse official NHL game pucks totals 15 in all, including four from the 1967-68 first season of expansion with patent numbers on the rubberized reverse. A Maple Leafs puck with white on blue logo is one of those four along with first-year North Stars, Kings and Blues pucks with the patent number. A 1966-67 Red Wings puck with rubberized crests is included. There are 10 Converse 1969-77 pucks with screened reverses including Atlanta Flames, Oakland Seals, Islanders, Capitals, Flyers, Penguins, Rangers and Red Wings (3). Comes with Dr. John Finley’s signed LOA.
Nicely preserved overall. The Seals logo has a few marks, and the Rangers crest has a bit of loss to the white rubber.
Red Wings screened reverse pucks include one with orange octagonal rubberized crest, and two with round red on white rubberized crests.
