Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2014
Wonderful lacrosse stick more than a century old, used only a few decades after this great sport, which originated hundreds of years ago by North American Native people, had become adopted as Canada’s national game, and which, by the time this was handled, was the dominating sport in Canada played across the country in front of large crowds. Measuring 49” in length, this hand-crafted, left-handed stick has been wonderfully preserved, with the woven pocket almost completely intact and the wood damage-free but of course darkened from age. What a terrific display and conversation piece this would make.
