Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014

No one played the game harder or with more desire than 5’7” Henri Richard, who would lace them up for 19-plus seasons with the Montreal Canadiens, collect a record 11 Stanley Cups along the way, and ultimately inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1979. The Pocket Rocket, captain of the Canadiens for his final four years beginning in the 1971-72 campaign, would be honored by the Habs on Dec. 10, 1975, when his number “16” was raised to the rafters at the Montreal Forum, joining his brother Maurice and other Canadiens legends. We have two full tickets from that emotional night at the Forum when the Toronto Maple Leafs provided the opposition (and which would end in a 3-3 tie), with these ducats, that measure 1 3/8” x 4 1/4”, preserved in like-new condition with no wear, and the colors, from the Forum’s blue section, as clear as can be. Beautiful unused tickets from a big night at the Montreal Forum.
