The late Stan Musial and fellow HOFers Spahn, Mathews and Killebrew are among the baseball greats, including Aaron, Mays and Koufax, whose signatures are featured in this lot of autographed items, most of which come with PSA/DNA auction LOAs. Thomson and Branca signed three "Shot Heard Round the World" photos, Mazeroski signed a pair of his 1960 World Series homer photos, and Banks, F. Robinson, Jenkins, Ryan and Bonds are also featured. Hank Aaron signed in blue marker on an 8x10 action shot which comes with a PSA/DNA auction letter; Hank Aaron signed with the notation “Best Wishes” in blue ballpoint on a cut autograph, a roughly cut piece of paper that measures 2 1/2" x 5” at its extremes which comes with a PSA/DNA auction LOA; Stan Musial signed in blue marker on an 8x10 photo of himself posed in his Cardinals uniform which comes with a PSA/DNA auction LOA; Willie Mays signed in blue marker on an 8x10 action shot which comes with a PSA/DNA auction letter. There are various small marks throughout the autograph and stamped lettering, likely from bled from the backing of another photo, between the two first letters of his given name and surname; Sandy Koufax signed in fine black marker on a 1 3/4" x 2 3/8” cut autograph that is certified authentic by PSA/DNA, mounted on a 3x5 index card and encased in a plastic card holder; Bob Gibson signed in bold blue marker on an 8x10 action shot and Ferguson Jenkins has signed in bold blue marker on his 8x10 Cubs action shot. One PSA/DNA auction LOA is included for the two signed photos; Warren Spahn and Johnny Sain each signed an 8x10 of themselves, Spahn and Sain and pray for rain! posed on the dugout steps in their Boston Braves uniforms, which comes with a PSA/DNA auction LOA; Bill Mazeroski signed in big, bold blue marker on an 8x10 action shot of himself rounding third base after hitting his home run that won the 1960 World Series. Mazeroski has also signed in big bold blue marker on an 8x10 action shot of his follow through on his dramatic ninth inning homer. One PSA/DNA auction LOA accompanies the two signed photos; Bobby Thomson and Ralph Branca each signed in blue marker on an 8x10 shot of Thomson being mobbed at home plate after his “The Shot Heard ‘Round the World” homer in the 1951 playoff at the Polo Grounds with Jackie Robinson looking on a Branca walks off the mound. A PSA/DNA auction LOA accompanies this dual-signed photo; Bobby Thomson and Ralph Branca each signed in blue marker on an 8x10 shot of Thomson being mobbed at home plate after his “The Shot Heard ‘Round the World” homer in the 1951 playoff at the Polo Grounds. Jenkins signed with the “Boston Red Sox 76” notation in black marker on a Texas Rangers (5 3/4" 3 1/2") photo card with pinholes in the corners. Jenkins has signed in blue marker on a Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame photo card.
