This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
Awesome game-worn helmet donned by defensive back Everson Walls when he was with the New York Giants between 1990 and 1992. Walls played in Super Bowl XXV in January of 1991 and tackled Thurman Thomas with less than 2 minutes to play, stopping a sure Bills touchdown, which was a key play in helping the Giants to their 20-19 victory. Walls' "Riddell" helmet features his number 28 on the back, Giants stickers on each side, and shows various scratches and marks throughout. The mask and chin strap are intact, as is all the inside protection. To note is a "PSI" hologram on the back of this gamer. Walls was a 4-time Pro Bowl selection who suited up for 3 different teams, Cowboys, Giants and Browns, in his career which began in 1981 and ended in 1993. Helmet comes with an LOA from PSI. A consumer warning sticker is attached under the inside padding.
