Five truly significant vintage ticket stubs from Madison Square Garden in New York, which include a stub from the Rangers’ HOF (inducted 1987) goaltender Ed Giacomin’s 1st NHL game on Oct. 24, 1965 (against the Habs); an Oct. 18, 1967 stub which was Habs HOFer (ind. 1984) Jacques Lemaire’s 1st NHL goal; an April 5, 1972 MSG stub from Guy Lafleur’s (ind. 1988) 1st NHL playoff game; an April 6, 1972 MSG stub when Lafleur scored his 1st of 58 playoff goals; and an April 23, 1972 MSG stub from HOFer (inducted 1983) Bobby Hull’s last NHL playoff game before joining the WHA. All 5 stubs measure approximately 1 ½” x 2” with the Lemaire “1st goal” stub and Hull’s last playoff game stub showing some slight creasing, while the other 3 are clean and crease-free. The consignor has included printed details of the game results on the plastic holders.
