Countless items from the world of international hockey competition, too vast to list in detail, but we’ll outline as best we can from from this lot garnered by a Hockey Canada executive as he traveled throughout the hockey world, beginning with a beautiful IIHL pen in its case given out to announce the 2015 World Championships in the Czech Republic, IIHL Stockholm belt and cufflinks unused and in a case, a vast assortment of pins, way too many to count, but absolutely fascinating once you start sorting through. There’s a couple of Moscow Dynamo figurines, five different nesting dolls, five “Skoda” model cars measuring about 4” in their small display cases plus another 2” Skoda car. A few banners, an unopened white Team Canada polo shirt (size XL), about sixteen laminated media passes, along with programs from 1994 NHL Challenge Cup, 1998 Switzerland, 1998 NHL Nagano involvement, 2000 St. Petersburg, Russia, 2001 Germany, 2002 Sweden, and three from the 2004 World Cup of Hockey. There’s a handful of items from the 1990 World Championships in Bern, an 8” Team Canada doll, a couple of 2008 IIHF World Championships (held in Canada) car flags, a couple of Russian visas for a Canadian traveler, three different commemorative postal envelopes, full tickets from the 2004 World Cup of Hockey in Toronto including game 1 (Canada-Russia), three different from game 2 (Russia-Slovakia), plus the quarterfinal, semifinal, and championship games. There’s a 2000 IIHL dinner menu from Russia, an IIHL 2000 HOF induction invitation (Gretzky was one of the inductees), three Team Canada ’85 vs. Moscow Dynamo lineup cards, and two commemorative bronze medals in their cases from the World Championships from Stockholm 1989 and Finland 1991. There's a whole bunch more too, ready for you to explore!
