Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014

Three-time World Junior player Mike York wore this white American gamer in the 1998 WJC tourney held in Finland where he would collect three goals and two assists in his seven games played. Tagged in the collar as a "Nike (size) 56", this York World Juniors gamer has the "IIHF 90th Anniversary" patch sewn on the left breast, with triple tackle twill team crest and numbers, and single lettering on the nameplate. The gamer features nice game marks scattered about the front and on both sleeves, and also includes touches of board burns and paint transfer on the sleeves as well. Tremendously nice U.S. gamer from a fellow who previously won silver at the Juniors in '97 when he led the tournament in scoring, and would ultimately capture silver once again as a member of the 2002 U.S. Olympic team in Salt Lake City.
