Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014

Brian Mullen would go from street hockey in Manhattan's tough Hell's Kitchen neighborhood to the glamor of the big-leagues, a movie script if there ever was one, and along the way would suit up for the U.S. team in 1991 World Championship play to add to the plot. We have Mullen's game-worn USA mesh jersey from those '91 World Championships that took place in Finland, tagged in the collar as a "Tackla XXL", with nice game-wear showing, including a fine scattering of marks on the front, back, and on both sleeves. On both upper sleeves are "Allianz" patches sewn on, while everything else, including team logo, name, and numbers are screened on. A nice gamer from a fellow who notched 4 goals and 4 assists at these '91 games. Brian's brother Joe most certainly belongs in the aforementioned moivie script, as he too not only made it to the bigs and represented his country on several occasions, but was inducted in the HOF in 2000. Two brothers in the pros, from the streets of Manhattan. Wow!
