Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
American-born goaltender Ty Conklin donned this white 2nd Regular Season jersey during the 2003-2004 campaign, a couple of seasons after signing as an undrafted free agent with the Alberta franchise. Conklin would share the netminding duties with first Tommy Salo and then Jussi Markkanen during the '03-'04 season. Tagged in the collar as a "Goalie Style Size 58", this Conklin gamer features the Oilers' "25th anniversary patch" on the right breast and "Rigger" patches on each shoulder. Marks are scattered about the front and on both sleeves, the team crest shows some puckering, and Conklin has signed the back number "1" with silver marker which has faded somewhat. A MeiGray registry patch is sewn on the inside hem, with numbers matching the enclosed LOA signed by representatives of MeiGray and the NHL.
