Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014

France-born goaltender Cristobal Huet donned this vintage-style L.A. Kings jersey in 2003 when the NHL honored its past by having select teams wear vintage jerseys in select games. In Huet's case, he and his Kings teammates wore the classic purple and gold from the 1980-81 era on November 15th, 2003. Tagged in the collar as a "Goalie Style size 58", this gamer features the embroidered "crown" team crest, contrasting sleeves, and the "V" patch sewn on the right breast. Huet's single tackle twill nameplate and double tackle twill yellow and white number "35" adorn the back, while white and purple numbers are on the sleeves. Game-wear is hard to find as Huet was the back-up goalie for that game. On the hem is a "MeiGray Game-Worn 2003-2004" registry code patch which matches the LOA signed by representatives of MeiGray.
