Martin Brodeur celebrated his and the Devils' third Stanley Cup in 2003 by drinking and spraying the champagne that was originally held in this bottle. Marty has signed in gold paint pen on the empty bottle with his number "30" written in black marker on the Wycliff Champagne label that is featured in this lot of eight signed pieces from the collection of Marty's father, the late Denis Brodeur. Marty, Claude Lemieux and Stephane Richer have signed a Devils 1995 Stanley Cup champions cap included with two signed photos, including a dual-signed Brodeur-Tretiak shot, two signed golf pin flags, and two other signed pieces. Marty has signed in French, “A pa, Martin Brodeur 30” (To Dad) in bold black marker on a framed photo of himself with Team Canada captain Mario Lemieux and executive director Wayne Gretzky and the rest of Team Canada 2004 gathered around the World Cup of Hockey trophy, a shot taken by Denis Brodeur as noted on the bottom right corner of the print. Beautifully displayed in a red and white double matte and mounted in a 11 3/4" x 13 3/4" gold-colored metal frame.
Marty and Vladislav Tretiak have both signed in bold black marker on an 11x14 photo of the Russian HOFer side by side with his prized pupil taken at Tretiak’s goalie camp when Brodeur had his NHL future just around the corner.
Multi-signed Devils Stanley Cup Champions 1995 cap has the marker autographs of Brodeur, Richer and Lemieux along with the notation, “Stanley Cup Champions Love You” on the top. Original NHL tag still attached.
Marty has signed in bold blue marker on a golf pin flag from his charitable foundation tournament.
Marty has signed in bold black marker on a golf pin flag from the Martin Brodeur Classic.
Marty has signed in black marker on a fan art-style display that reads “Stanley Cup was here, Martin Brodeur” on round paperboard and measures 10” in diameter.
Marty has signed in black marker on the brim of a “la pizzeria etc” baseball cap.
