Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
From the now-defunct BCHL Abbotsford Flyers (1976 to 1985) comes two game-worn Flyers jerseys, with the blue example showing the large and round Flyers crest sewn on the front and a tackle twill number “3” (with puckering) sewn on the back. This gamer has marks, red paint transfer, and some faint stains scattered about, with several small and unrepaired holes in the sleeves and a substantial one on the front. A small material pull is evident below the back number as well, while the ragged tag in the collar shows it to be from Cardinal Sportswear and Crests, Vancouver B.C. The red gamer is tagged in the collar as a Cooper, size “Medium”, and has a blue Flyers logo, slightly different in shape, sewn on the front, with a double tackle twill number “3” sewn on the back and on both arms. Some puckering is evident on the back number, while this gamer in general shows lighter wear.
