This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
From the junior hockey team that over the years provided a stage for the likes of Bobby Orr, Eric Lindros, and John Tavares comes this lot of two vintage 1970s Oshawa Generals items, including a satiny team jacket and a red mesh collared golf-style shirt. The royal blue jacket features “Oshawa” embroidered in white thread script across the back with with “Generals” spelled out in white within the outline of the red thread embroidered tail sprawled beneath it. “Oshawa Generals” is also embroidered in white thread script on the left breast of this button front beauty with a Shain of Canada size Large flag tag in the neck. Very clean cuffs on this nicely preserved team jacket which has a few light marks from wear that do nothing to diminish its fine display. The distinctive red mesh shirt with a zipper closure on the front of the neck features an “Oshawa Generals” script and tail logo sewn on the left breast that features detailed white thread cable stitching. Sand-Knit “X-Large” tagging is sewn into the back of the neck. Another fine display piece with vibrant red color nicely preserved in the mesh, and wear discernible inside the collar.
