Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
Tons of game-wear on this blue mesh Flint Generals gamer from the 1980s that features the vintage Generals crest sewn on the front and number “9” on the back and sleeves with evidence of a previous #14 visible behind the new numbers. Tagged in the collar as a size “M” (with washing instructions), this gamer shows solid game-wear with numerous marks and red paint transfer lining both sleeves, along with more on the front and some on the back which also has red paint transfer near the hem. A couple of team repairs are to mention as well, including a substantial one on the right sleeve and 2 more on the right sleeve. We don’t know exactly which player wore this gamer, but we do know that Marc Hetnik is shown as having worn number 9 in 1979-80, while Bernie Gallant wore #9 in ’83-’84 and ’84-’85, although we can’t be sure it was either of these players who wore this particular jersey.
