Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
The NHL rang in the new millennium by having all teams wear “NHL 2000” patches, which included of course this Canucks gamer worn by D-man Greg Hawgood, who would suit up for the West Coast team in 79 games that '99-2000 season. Tagged in the collar as a “CCM” with separate size “58” flap, this away jersey has marks that clearly show on the red and grey stripes near the bottom, along with marks and several material snags on the left sleeve and marks and board burns on the right sleeve. A mark is also noticeable on the back number “4”. The inside hem features a sewn-on “1999-2000 Game Worn Limited-Edition” patch. This nice game-worn Canucks/Hawgood jersey comes with an LOA signed by Canucks Prez and GM Brian Burke.
