Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
Sergei Kostitsyn with the Montreal Canadiens for the better part of three seasons, and it was in the historic 2009-10 Centennial season that he would don this Habs gamer. As an added touch for Habs fans, Sergei also wore this in the Canadiens 2010 playoffs when he and his team upset the Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins before finally bowing out to the Flyers in the Conference Final. Tagged in the collar as a size 56, this white Set 3 gamer has a handwritten “3” in the collar, and a Centennial patch sewn on the right shoulder. A few marks are noticeable on the front, on both sleeves, and on the back, while on the back number is a hologram which matches up with the enclosed LOA signed by a representative of the Canadiens, along with a Canadiens “Game-Worn” registry patch on the inside hem which also matches up with the letter. A nice gamer from an ex-Hab who, at this writing, is playing in the KHL.
