Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
Of twofold significance is this Oilers jersey, as it was worn by Swedish-born winger Magnus Paajarvi not only in his rookie season, the 2010-11 campaign when he suited up for 80 games, but also when he notched his first NHL goal and assist on October 16, 2010 against the Calgary Flames. Tagged in the collar with “Elite Sportswear” and size “56” flaps, this Paajarvi rookie gamer shows a series of material snags on the front and right sleeve, along with a scattering of marks, mostly on the sleeves and on the back. Sewn on the inside hem is a “MeiGray” registry patch with numbers that match the accompanying LOA signed by representatives of MeiGray and the Edmonton Oilers.
