The Broad Street Bullies brought The Hammer down on their opponents on their way to winning back-to-back Stanley Cups while terrorizing the NHL in the mid-1970s. Cool pair of limited edition pieces includes an orange and black hammer signed in bold black marker by Dave “The Hammer” Schultz, who recorded 2,294 penalty minutes in 535 regular season games with Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Pittsburgh and Buffalo. Dave has signed with his nickname and his jersey “#8” along with the notation “472 PIMS”, his astounding single-season NHL record set in 1974-75 when the Flyers went on to defend their Stanley Cup title. The “351/472” limited edition notation is written in bold black marker on the butt end of the orange wood handle and a Flyers decal is affixed to the front cheek of the black hammer head, with a Hammer Enterprises hologram on the other cheek. Also featured is a team-signed Philadelphia Flyers 1974 & 1975 Stanley Cup Champions limited edition stick with 24 black marker signatures from the blade all the way up to the top of the shaft. Bernie Parent, Bobby Clarke and fellow HOFers Bill Barber have all signed on the blade, which has a 74/75 Stanley Cup sticker affixed to it. Schultz has signed just above the heel and the stick is also signed by the likes of Kelly, Jim Watson, Joe Watson, Leach, Clement, MacLeish, Kindrachuk, Nykoluk, Van Impe, Crisp, Dupont, Taylor, Stephenson, Bladon, Goodenough, Harris, Lonsberry, Nolet, Saleski and Dornhoefer, with the uniform numbers of all of the players added to their signatures in black marker. The limited edition notation “2/300” is written in black marker in the middle of the shaft along with the names of deceased members of the Flyers’ Stanley Cup teams, including coach Fred Shero, Barry Ashbee and Bill Flett. Both limited-edition items come with their respective COAs from Hammer Enterprises, both of which are signed by Dave Schultz.
