Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
Loved or despised, there’s no denying the fact that former Toronto Maple Leafs owner Conn Smythe was one of the most influencial hockey men in the history of the game, the man behind the building of the iconic Maple Leaf Gardens in 1931, and a man who ruffled feathers around the league and didn’t care one bit. We have a nice signature from this powerful HOF builder (inducted 1958, deceased 1980), written in blue ballpoint pen in clear and bold fashion on a plain sheet of 5” x 8” unmarked and undamaged paper (with faint creases), and which would look sensational framed if desired.
