Great pair of vintage hockey pucks features the CCM Art Ross NHL official game puck that was used throughout the league from 1942 to 1950. With its distinctive orange octagonal rubberized logo, this is the type of puck that Rocket Richard scored 50 goals in 50 games with in 1944-45, the type that Gordie Howe scored his first NHL goals with, the type that was in use when the Toronto Maple Leafs dynasty of the late-1940s became the first team to win three straight Stanley Cups. This antique puck is wonderfully preserved with a nick on one side of the edge. A must-have for a vintage puck collection. Also included is a 1960s San Francisco Seals Western Hockey League official game puck. Used from in WHL play by the Seals from 1961 to 1967, this classic biscuit has the Seals logo screened in orange on one side and the round orange “Western Hockey League Official Puck” circle screened on the other side, with “Official” in raised letters on the edge. Very nicely preserved with a very tiny bump that appears to be a manufacturing flaw on the league logo side near the edge.
