The 1981-82 New York Islanders were a juggernaut, a team that would win its third straight Stanley Cup in the spring of '82, and a team chock full of superstars like Mike Bossy, Denis Potvin, Billy Smith, and the one and only Brian Trottier. Offered now is a plaque honoring Trottier's 3-goal night on January 7, 1982 when he and his Islanders beat the Philadelphia Flyers 5-4. Three pucks with Flyers logos are mounted with screws from the back of this 8" x 12" wooden plaque, with the accompanying nameplate detailing the occasion, with both the pucks and plaque in excellent condition save for a touch of scratching on the wood and nameplate. Trottier would end this '81-'82 campaign with a brilliant 50 goals. The nameplate on this important plaque states “Hat Trick – January 7, 1982 – N.Y. Islanders 5 Philadelphia Flyers 4 – On St. Croix
