Brilliant HOFer Ray Bourque (inducted 2004) wore these black and white Sher-Wood gloves while with the Boston Bruins during the mid-1990s, when he'd already suited up for the Beantowners for 15 seasons or so and had firmly established himself as one of the greatest D-men to ever lace 'em up. Bourque's gamers show numerous marks scattered about, including blue paint transfer on the left mitt, no holes or damage of any type is seen, with general wear showing he was in the heat of battle. The NHL logo is sewn onto each thumb, and "Bourque #77" is screened on glove as well. Bourque would play for the Bruins for 21 seasons before joining the Colorado Avalanche and retiring with a Stanley Cup. Comes with a COA. Bourque captured the Calder in 1979-80 and would become a 5-time Norris Trophy winner, playing a total of 1612 regular season games and notching a remarkable 410 goals and 1169 assists along the way. This is a fellow who was the heir apparent of Bobby Orr in Boston, and he showed class, dignity, and exceptional talent throughout.
