The Golden Jet has penned his name on a ton of great stuff here, not the least being a terrific B&W shot of Hull beating Bruins netminder Cherry Cheevers to notch his 600th, magnificently signed in clear blue marker, with an actual ticket stub from the historic night. Mr. Hull has also signed a Black Hawks puck, a gorgeous 11" x 14" photo of him and Bobby Orr, an 8" x 10" signed by both Bobby and Brett Hull, and six programs/magazines signed on their covers, including one that Gordie Howe has also autographed. Truly a fine assortment from one of the game's greatest players, with one of the nicest signatures. The Hawks puck, resting in its case, is signed by Bobby in silver marker, while he and Brett have signed in gold marker on their colored “500 Goal Club” photo and Hull and Gordie Howe have penned their names with black marker on the cover of a 1975 WHA All-Star Game program. The cover of a 1976 Canada Cup program features Hull’s signature in bold blue marker, while Gerry Cheevers and Pete Mahovlich have added theirs in black marker. Hull has signed in blue marker on the cover of a 1965 Sports Illustrated which shows an illustration of the man himself, he’s signed the cover of a 1960 Sport Revue in black marker, a 1968 Time Magazine in silver marker, and has penned in ball point the cover of a March 4, 1967 Bruins program between the Bruins and Rangers. (Bruins goaltender Ed Johnston has autographed the inside lineup page). Photos of Hull signing some of these particular items include the Bruins program, the 11” x 14” photo of him and Orr, the Time mag, and the Sports Illustrated. All magazines and all pieces are in terrific condition, with the signatures all beautifully signed. The ticket stub from Hull’s 600 goal (March 25th, 1972), is in very nice condition with no marks or tears aside from the original tear.
