Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
The Black Hawks' famous logo first appeared on NHL game pucks used from 1958-62. This puck is the type that Bobby Hull and Stan Mikita fired and Glenn Hall stopped in the early stages of their Hall of Fame careers. It has rubber-crested logos both front and back, with the "Made In USA" line at the bottom of the "Official Art Ross National Hockey League Puck" reverse with the black outline allowing it to be properly dated of that era. With no chips or skate slices, it would be tough to find a nicer example worthy of a big-league vintage puck collection.
