There was only one Marilyn Monroe. Born Norma Jeane Mortenson, the Hollywood goddess remains an iconic and timeless sex symbol some 50 years after her tragic death at the age of 36. This framed display features a Marilyn Monroe signed check with the legendary actress's original signature. Marilyn has signed at the bottom of a December 9, 1950 check she wrote out to "Cash" in the amount of $40 drawn from her account with the Laurel-Sunset branch of the Bank of America. Marilyn was shooting to stardom in 1950 as her performances in "The Asphalt Jungle" and "All About Eve" drew wide attention. Magnificent example of Marilyn's signature and penmanship is displayed recessed in a white matte on the bottom part of this framed display which features a 9x7 Monroe photo. This historic Marilyn Monroe signed check display is mounted in a 20" x 13 1/2" frame. Please note that this item may be subject to a silent reserve.
